Panaji: Chief minister Pramod Sawant on Monday said that the state is contemplating the possibility of imposing night curfew in the state.
Talking to reporters after chairing meeting of State level Task Force on COVID-19, Sawant said that the state will impose night curfew. He said that the exact date on night curfew and other details about the decisions during Task Force would be informed to the media later during the day.
Sawant said that the state government will also impose certain restrictions on the schools due to rising number of COVID-19 cases.
Goa reported 10.7 per cent positivity rate on Sunday, with the spike in infection continuing after Christmas and New Year season.
