Goa Governor announces financial assistance to 71 orphanages, Old Age Homes on PM’s Birthday

Panaji: Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai on Friday announced Financial Assistance to 71 orphanages and Old Age homes from the Goa Governor’s fund as a part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 71 st Birthday celebration.
In a media statement issued here, Raj Bhavan Goa has said that the Governor has announced financial aid for 71 orphanages and 71 dialysis patients from the Governor’s discretionary fund.
Wishing Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of his Birthday, the Governor announced financial aid for 71 Old Age Homes, Orphanages and other such institutions. “Further, the Governor declared that 71 persons would receive financial assistance from Raj Bhavan for dialysis treatment,” the media statement said.
The Raj Bhavan said that the interested persons, Institutions should apply with all personal details, activities of the institution. “In case of dialysis treatment, the hospital where the patient is undergoing treatment should be mentioned,” the media statement added. “The applications should be addressed to the secretary to the Governor and may be submitted before September 30, 2021. The financial assistance would be sanctioned on a first cum first serve basis,” it adds.
