Fatorda: Reacting to the statement of GPCC Chief Girish Chodankar that whoever wants to defeat BJP should join Congress, Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai said that no person with right state of mind will make such statement unless “he is a guided missile of BJP.”
During a press conference in Panaji, Chodankar had said that whoever wants to defeat BJP should join Congress. He had even named Sardesai in his statement.
Back in Fatorda, when asked on his reaction, Sardesai said that the Congress leadership is already in talks with him for alliance. “People like Girish, who are on contract basis of the government, have no right to make such statement,” he said adding that Chodankar was on “monthly pay role” of the BJP.
Sardesai said that he is in touch with legislature party leader Digambar Kamat and Congress leaders over the talks of alliance.
“Let Congress observers say that Girish is saying,” he commented.
