New Delhi: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai this morning met Union Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu demanding immediate resumption of the mining activity in Goa.
Sardesai urged Prabhu to help in moving Ordinance on the floor of the House as soon as possible so that the mining activity can resume in the State. Around three lakh people have been affected due to closure of mining industry.
The GFP has said that the Ordinance is the only way forward for resumption of the mining industry in Goa. Sardesai said that Prabhu has assured to take up the matter on priority.
