St Andre: Frontline workers of Mandur GMC hospital and other volunteers of St Andre constituency were felicitated in the presence of ZP Member Dhaku Madkaikar, local leader Prof Ramrao Surya Wagh and Dr Shubha Shirvaikar, Principal of homeopathic College, Shiroda in a function held at GMC RHTC MANDUR organized by Rebuild India Trust and Fr Agnel College of Arts and commerce, Pilar on 19 June 2021.
Prof Ramrao Wagh said that this hospital is providing excellent service despite acute shortage of staff and should be provided with staff as per Medical council of India norms and in patient services as well as operation theatre and other facilities be resumed without further delay and govt should retain it as rural health training centre instead of converting it into covid hospital as suggested by few people.
Dhaku Madkaikar strongly suggested that the hospital complex be named after former MLA of St Andre late Vishnu Surya Wagh.
