Panaji: Confirming about the fourth death due to COVID-19 infection, Sawant said that the patient might have got infected at an isolation ward of Goa Medical College and Hospital, where he was admitted.
A 64-year-old man from Taleigao village near Panaji died at ESI hospital after being tested positive for COVID-19 infection.
Sawant said that the patient might have got infected at Isolation Ward of GMC. “Though we sanitize the isolation ward regularly, there could be a possibility that he may got infection from there,” he said.
