Panaji: Responding to a question, Sawant also allayed fear that a BJP MLA who has tested positive for the infection might have given them to his other party colleagues.
The MLA was a part of a meeting of BJP lawmakers called by the chief minister in the last week of June.
Sawant said that during the meeting proper social distancing was maintained.
