The Passing Out Parade marked the culmination of 19-week basic military training of the recruits. This is the first time a Naval officer has reviewed the Passing Out Parade in the sixty-year history of the training establishment. Addressing the gathering, the Admiral congratulated the trainees for succesful completion of the training and also for the meticulous drill displayed.

He also brought out the importance of Signal communication across the three services as also the need for keeping abreast with the fast developing technology. The Admiral called upon the trainees to shoulder the responsibilities in a professional manner keeping in mind the challenges faced by the Nation due to natural calamities, pandemic as well as security threats.

FOGA also stressed on joint ethos of Armed Forces, reminiscing the days shared with Brigadier Sanjay Rawal, Commandant 2STC, during 67th Course at Hunter Squadron at National Defence Academy.
