Panaji: With the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi inching closer, S S Dempo College of Commerce and Economics organised All Goa Inter-Collegiate Ghumat Aarti competition which received tremendous response from various groups.
Social activist Siddhesh Naik inaugurated the competition in presence of college Principal Radhika Nayak. This is the first ever kind of such competition held in the college but was received well by various groups across the State.
“This is a kind of competition that takes us closer to our culture. The attempt to host this event is worth appreciating,” Nayak said after inaugurating the event.
He said that Goa’s diversity in culture is what it makes outstanding amongst others on the Indian map.
Principal Radhika Nayak congratulated the students for hosting this competition.
