Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 90 and reached 48,776 on Monday, a health department official said.

The death toll touched 701 as three patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.

The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 46,778 with 154 of them getting discharge on Monday. The number of active cases is now 1297, the official said.

“A total of 1,575 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
