Panaji: Goa’s COVID-19 caseload went up by 309 and death toll by seven on Saturday, while 425 people were discharged, an official said.

The state now has 40,400 cases, including 538 deaths, and 36,035 people have recovered, he said.

A total of 1,408 samples were tested for the infection during the day, he added.
