Panaji: Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant laid the foundation stone for the Construction of the 20-Bedded Primary Health Centre at Mormugao, a significant step towards strengthening accessible, affordable and quality healthcare for the people of Goa.
He stated that this modern healthcare facility, being developed at a cost of over Rs 26 crore, will provide comprehensive medical services including multi-speciality OPDs, emergency casualty care, a 10-bed dialysis unit, maternity and paediatric care, diagnostic facilities, physiotherapy, AYUSH services, wellness centre and a total capacity of 41 beds.
CM congratulated MLA Shri Sankalp Amonkar for his dedicated efforts in bringing this important project to fruition. He also extended his appreciation to GSIDC, the Health Department, consultants, contractors and all stakeholders involved in this initiative.
