Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Wednesday congratulated the central government and the armed forces for the successful “Operation Sindoor” to avenge the killing of tourists at Pahalgam.
Addressing a press conference after chairing the state cabinet meeting, Sawant said: Kudos to the Government of India and the Armed Forces on the success of Operation Sindoor.
I salute all three armed forces for the successful Operation Sindoor. India has taken revenge on Pakistan for the killing of innocent tourists at Pahalgam, the Chief Minister said.
He stated that India has targeted and demolished nine training camps of terrorists in PoK and Pakistan, sending a stern message to the country that harbours terrorism.
Sawant said that the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again made it clear to Pakistan that India will not tolerate any kind of terror activity on its land.
India is emerging as a strong nation, and countries across the globe are standing with India in its fight against terrorism, he said.
