Valpoi: The Community Health Centre, Valpoi , Dr Shyam Kankonkar said “As Dabem village in Sattari taluka is highly affected due to Covid19 pandemic. This area is declared a micro containment zone. We have deputed six teams in the village which have covered all 120 houses and the entire population of Dabem Village. Instead of many hurdles due to heavy rain our senior Health staff Kavita Gawas along with Alisha Bhat, Sweta Mandrekar, Deepa Gawde, Roshan Gawas, Akshada and Raghunath Mashelkar covered entire village, villagers were given packets of medicine which had few essential drugs. Advocacy of dos and don’t were told to villagers. Those who found with symptoms have been asked to get tested, All the necessary steps are taken”.
