Panaji: Corporation of City of Panaji Mayor Uday Madkaikar led the drive that saw demolition of encroachment on footpath by Big Daddy casino.
The workers today demolished illegal staircase built by the casino for its office. Madkaikar said that the casino management will also issued notice for nailing the trees next to their office.
Madkaikar said that the action was taken after several NGOs complained about the footpath encroachment.
