Panaji: Utpal, son of former Union Defence Minister Late Manohar Parrikar, on Thursday said that the need for Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 (CAB 19) is a direct consequence of partition on religious lines.
Supporting the Bill, Utpal in a tweet said “Need for #CAB2019 is a direct consequence of partition on religious lines”.
He further tweeted “if congress accepted large territories of the country to become Islamic Republic, It had duty towards protecting minorities living in those lands,”.
