Panaji: The State Executive Committee of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Goa Unit on Tuesday congratulated Pramod Sawant-led government for successfully handling COVID-19 crisis, while also condemned the “false propaganda” against the government.
In a political resolution adopted in the meeting, which was participated by BJP Goa President Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant besides others, the party expressed its fully confidence in the leadership of Pramod Sawant.
“The party condemns the machination and false propaganda against BJP government and express its full confidence in the leadership and the performance of the government led by Dr Pramod Sawant,” the resolution stated.
The committee also congratulated the state government for accelerating the pace of vaccination. “With more than 7.45 lakh persons getting vaccinated till yesterday, Goa have earned the distinction of being first amongst all states to vaccinate more than 70 percent of its population,” the meeting resolved.
The party also congratulated frontline covid warriors, doctors, nurses, para-medical staff, police and other administrative workers for their relentless efforts in fighting the pandemic and also during natural calamities.
The committee also congratulated CM for stellar performance of the party in municipal and Zilla Panchayat polls.
