In a drive against drug trade Anjuna Police Station staff through their meticulous planning and co – ordination conducted a narcotic raid at Siolim and arrested one person with drugs.
As per SDPO Mapusa Jivba Dalvi during the intervening night of 25 / 26.10.2023 laid a trap and arrested Mr. Romi s / o Bharat Kalyani , age 40 yrs r / o C / o Arnold Rose , near Reveira Saphire , Bamanwado , Siolim , Bardez Goa n / o Bandra ( W ) , Mumbai , Maharashtra with illegal possession of Ecstasy tablets of 4.22grams and Methamphetamine of 3.50grams W / Rs . 1,00,000 / – appx.
The Ford Figo car bearing registration No. GA 08 K 8204 used for delivering Narcotic substance has also been attached in the crime. The worth of narcotic substances and car is appro. Rs . 3,50,000/-.
The raiding team was headed by P.I. Prashal P N. Dessai , PSI Ashish Porob , PC Mahendra Mandrekar , PC Abhishek Kasar , PC Rupesh Azgaonkar , PC Adarsh Nagekar , PC- Suraj Fondekar , PC- Gaurav Salgaonkar and LPC- Pallavi Dhuri.
The raid was conducted under the overall supervision of Shri . Jivba G. Dalvi , SDPO Mapusa and Shri . Nidhin Valsan , IPS , SP ( North ) , Porvorim.
