Panaji: Agriculture department, Government of Goa in association with Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture Minister Chandrakant (Babu) Kavlekar has organized one day Krishi Melava on January 5 at Xira Ground in Shirvoi, Quepem.
The fair will involve knowledge sharing sessions about new technologies in agriculture, good innovative farming methods and information will be shared about various agriculture schemes.
Deputy Chief Minister has specially invited young and budding farmers for this exhibition. Stalls of agriculture machinery and self help groups selling their home processed farm products will also be the height of the day, informed Deputy Chief Minister Kavlekar.
