Panaji:: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 4,199 and reached 1,12,462 on Friday , a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 1,557 as 56 (fifty six ) of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 79,189 with 2175 of them getting discharged on Friday. The number of active cases is now 31,716, the official said.
“With 8,170 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 6,98,529,” he added.
