29 fresh cases on Tuesday, majority related to Mangor Hill

Panaji:  Goa on Tuesday reported 29 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection with majority of its belonging to Mangor Hill area in Vasco town, which has been notified as a containment zone.

In a bulletin issued here, State Health Department has said that total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the state has touched a mark of 359, of which 292 are active cases.

In all 67 people have recovered after being treated at ESI hospital at Margao, which is a facility specially designated for COVID-19 positive persons.

Health department has said that out of total cases reported on Tuesday, 22 were related to Mangor Hill, Five had travelled by road in the state and two by train.

Out of total 2789 samples tested on Tuesday, 1671 are negative, 29 positive while 1089 reports are awaited.
