Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload suddenly spiked on Tuesday with 112 new infections reported during the day, taking the tally to 1,80,229, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 3,520 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 176174 with 41 of them getting discharged on Tuesday . The number of active cases is now 535, the official said.
“With 2776 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 16,16,236,” he added.
