Youth showcased talent in Shree Krishna Vijay Utsav-Fatorda

Margao: The All Goa Shree Krishna Viyay Utsav competition organized by Fatorda Yuva Shakti got overwhelming response with many organization snatching prizes for their talent showcased in making of ‘Narkasur’ and glorifying Shree Krishna.

 

The competition was organized in four categories giving importance to music, traditional Narkasur, best Krishna and making of best Narkasur. Participants mesmerized the spectators by using new technologies and their knowledge in the art.

 

The participants appreciated the efforts of Fatorda Yuva Shakti for giving them plank to present their talent before mammoth crowd.

 

The results are as follows:

 

In the ‘Best Narkasur’ category, the first prize was bagged by Bhavani Haushi Mandal, Margao, while Nageshi Youth Club, Nageshi – Bandora bagged second and Sai Yuva Mandal, Housing Board – Margao bagged third. Appikur Yuvak Sangh, Shiroda, Omkar Haushi Mandal, Comba, Margao, Shiv Kamaxi Mahamaya, Shiroda were bestowed with first, second and third consolation prizes, respectively.

 

In Best Krishna category, Bhavani Haushi Mandal, Margao stood on first place, while Shree Krishna Kala Mandal, Rumdamol – Davorlim second and Hari Om Hari, Borda-Margao snatched third prize.

 

In Traditional (Paramparik) Narkasur category, Shiv Kamaxi Mahamaya, Shiroda, Shivam Sports Club, Shiroda, and Shree Mahalaxmi Sports and Cultural Club were given first, second and third prizes respectively.

 

While, Sai Yuva Mandal, Housing Board – Margao, Nageshi Youth Club, Nageshi – Bandora and Shree Krishna Kalamandal, Rumdamol, Davorlim were given first, second and third prizes respectively, in best music category.

 

Fatorda MLA and Chief Patron of Fatorda Yuva Shakti Vijai Sardesai, President Raju Naik, Councilors Raju Naik, Lyndon Pereira, Francis Joanes, Vitorino Tavares, Nimisha Faleiro, Sadananda Rama Naique, General Secretary (Org) of Goa Forward Party Durgadas Kamat, former councilors Glenn Andrade, Ramdas Hazare and Chinchinim Panch and President of Goa Seamen Association of India Franky Veigas were present on the occasion.
