Panaji: BJP Goa spokesman Giriraj Pai Vernekar on Monday questioned why Congress MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira has gone into hiding following the sextortion case.
Addressing a press conference, Vernekar said that Carlos should make his position clear, as the complaint mentions that he has known the accused for the last six years.
The BJP spokesman also raised questions about whether this is truly a case of sextortion or a relationship that has gone sour.
