Under the dedicated leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, the Government of Goa today inaugurated a series of landmark infrastructure and development projects designed to accelerate regional progress and improve the quality of life for local residents. The event marked the launch of crucial initiatives, including the development, operation, and maintenance of a Wellness Destination Center and Eco-Cottages, repair and beautification of the Sateri Ajoba Temple, construction of a 15 Million Liters per Day (MLD) Water Treatment Plant in Sattari, and conversion of the 11 KV Aerial Bunched (AB) Cable to an 11 KV underground cable for the Keri Feeder, extending from VP Morlem to Keri Village. These projects highlight the government’s commitment to sustainable development, infrastructure enhancement, and community well-being, showcasing a comprehensive approach to regional growth and modernization.
Applauding the initiative, Dr. Pramod P. Sawant, Chief Minister of Goa, emphasized the significance of these projects, stating, “These initiatives reflect our commitment to sustainable development and align perfectly with PM Modi’s vision of transforming rural infrastructure and creating holistic growth opportunities for our people.”
Vishwajit P. Rane, Minister for Health, Town and Country Planning, Forest, Urban Development, and Women & Child Development, highlighted that infrastructure development is the cornerstone of national progress. He emphasized that these projects exemplify the forward-looking approach championed by PM Modi, demonstrating the collaborative efforts of state and central governments in realizing the dream of a developed, empowered, and self-reliant India.
Sudin Dhavalikar, Minister for Power, emphasized the transformative potential of the projects, stating, “These initiatives symbolize the government’s commitment to accelerating rural development, enhancing infrastructure capabilities, improving citizens’ quality of life, promoting sustainable tourism, and ensuring comprehensive water security.”
Dr. Deviya Rane, MLA for Poriem Constituency, praised the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, noting that his vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ continues to inspire comprehensive growth strategies across states. She explained that the Wellness Destination Center and Eco-Cottages will not only boost tourism but also create employment opportunities, embodying the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’
