Panaji: Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira on Thursday demanded to know who was the Godfather that was trying to protect the assailants in Bastora attack case.
Vivek Shirodkar and his pregnant wife was attacked in a road rage at Bastora. Shirodkar was injured in the attack by a gang.
Mapusa police have arrested three persons. Ferreira said that there are more accused involved in the case. “All the other accused should also be arrested,” he said.
Ferreira said that one of the core members of BJP Aldona is involved in the case. He also accused PSI Bablo Parab of siding with the accused by acting lenient towards them.
Ferreira questioned who is the Godfather behind the gang, who tried to protect the assailants. He said that the Godfather should come forward.
GPCC President Amit Patkar said that the law and order in Goa has collapsed totally. We demand action against all those involved in it.
The Congress has demanded that Investigation officer should be changed for wasting time and distorting the investigation. Ferreira has also said that his CDR details should be checked.
