Panaji : India Meteorological Department (IMD) Goa informed today that, With the presence of a circulation over Coastal Andhra Pradesh & possible formation of a Low Pressure Area over North & adjoining Central Bay of Bengal around 6th September, rainfall activity is likely to increase over South Konkan-Goa from around 5th September onwards.
“Heavy Rainfall (Rainfall>6.4cm in 24 hrs) is very likely from 5th September onwards for about 5 days. Very Heavy Rainfall (Rainfall>11.5cm in 24 hrs) is likely at isolated places on 6th & 7th September,” said IMD Goa.
