Valpoi: The Forest Department officials said that the tiger who was found dead at Mahadayi wildlife sanctuary may have died some four to five days back.
Deputy Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) Vikas Desai said that the carcass was badly smelling and it could be predicted that it must have died four to five days back.
He said that the cause of death could be ascertained only after postmortem is conducted on the carcass.
