Panaji: Deputy Speaker of Legislative Assembly Michael Lobo has predicted political crisis in the State, if ailing Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar steps down.
Lobo talking to online portal `Goan Reporter’ at the sidelines of a function on Sunday evening said that “the ailment what he has got, has no cure.”
“There will be no political crisis till Manohar Parrikar is in chair. But the day he steps down on his health ground or something happens to him.. he is very unwell,” the Deputy speaker representing Calangute Assembly Constituency said.
“People have to understand he is very sick. The ailment what he has got has no cure. With God’s blessings he is still living. He is working with the God’s blessings,” Lobo said.
“The day he leaves the chair, there will be political crisis,” he added without elaborating further.
