Tata Sons Group management meets Goa CM, discusses investment opportunities

Panaji: Senior management officials of Tata Sons Group on Saturday met Goa chief minister Pramod Sawant to boost investment in the coastal state.

The Chief Minister’s Office on Saturday said that in order to align the State of Goa with the entire nationwide development, Chief Minister of Goa Dr. Pramod Sawant , Industries Minister Mauvin Godhinho along with the Chief Secretary, Puneet Kumar Goel interacted with the Chairman Tata Sons Group, N Chandrasekharan, Noel Tata and other top CEO’s to boost investment in Goa.

The Goa State Industries Association played a key role in arranging this crucial meeting with a clear agenda of inviting the mother industry to boost MSMe growth, the CMO said.

During the meeting, the opportunities in all the sector’s like IT , Aviation manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Training centre’s for hospitality and soft skills were discussed.

“Chairman impressed upon earnestness of CM and Industries Ministers holistic approach towards employment generation and promised to immediately plan an internal meeting with their top CEO’s to promote new generation businesses for Goa,” the CMO said.

In the meeting, Sawant expressed that the Collaboration and investment by Industry conglomerates like Tata Sons shall offer great opportunities for Goa.
