Canacona: Speaker of Legislative Assembly Ramesh Tawadkar has filed a formal complaint against unknown person for using his profile pic on WhatsApp and trying to grab money from various MLAs.
In a statement released here, Tawadkar has said that he has filed formal complaint with Canacona police station against unknown accused.
The speaker said that the accused has created a fake ID has kept his picture as a profile picture on WhatsApp and has been “trying to grab money” by defaming him in the society and calling all the MLAs of Goa asking money on his behalf.
“I have never asked money from any of the MLAs nor do I require it,” he said, in the statement.
The speaker has asked police to accord top priority to his complaint and take action.
