Panaji: Former General Secretary of Goa Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee Aishwarya Salgaonkar has threatened to resort to fast unto death demanding explanation from President Pratima Coutinho about her ouster from March 4 onwards.
Salgaonkar was suspended from the post in Mahila Congress in the year 2017 taking disciplinary action against her.
In a video released today, Salgaonkar has announced that she would be sitting for fast unto death from March 04 onwards demanding explanation from Coutinho.
She has said that she will not withdraw her fast till she get satisfactory reply.
Salgaonkar also alleged that her name was defamed by Coutinho while the team was on Delhi tour.
