Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte on Saturday demanded financial packages to the smaller stakeholders in the tourism business.
Khaunte said that these small stakeholders were in “financial peril.”
The MLA tweeted “Tourism, which is the backbone of our economy is suffering badly and smaller stakeholders like shack owners, water sports operators, taxi drivers, guides, etc are in severe financial peril. Its pertinent that support packages are provided to tide over their crisis.”
