The students of Shri Mahalasa Narayani Primary School, Verna, Madgaon, Sishu Vikash School Navelam and Shri Vinayak Gapal Shenvi Vidhyalaya Rawanford, Navelam and ladies of Gujarati Jagruti Mahila Mandal, Pajifond, Madgaon celebrated the Raksha Bhandhan with the soldiers of 3 Military Training Regiment at Madgaon. The event was conducted in the ‘Sarav Dharam Stahal’ of the Regiment, the soldiers offered sweets to all children and ladies after the rakhi ceremony. A total of 102 children, 38 ladies and 152 soldiers participated in the event. The event was taken very well by the soldiers as they are posted away from their families and they thanked all children and ladies for their gesture.
