Panaji: The Progressive Front of Goa (PFG) accused Chief Minister Pramod Sawant of circumventing Mhadei issue on his visit to Delhi. The PFG criticised the CM and BJP and said that there has been difference of opinion in BJP leading to party members growing increasingly unsatisfied with how BJP is handling the Mahadei issue.
Also present for the meeting was Pranav Sawardekar, a former BJP member who recently joined PFG over difference of opinion. “PFG is making sincere efforts to unify people and urge them to protect Mhadei, today people of Goa have lost faith in CM who they think lacks political will to defend Mhadei,” said Sawardekar.
PFG also requested people to take part in a gathering at Panaji Dock area on December 6, 6:30 pm to further the cause of protecting Mhadei River.
