Panaji: Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa has said that the private members’ resolution moved by him for upcoming Assembly session has been rejected by the Speaker.
In a media statement issued here, D’Costa has said “Bulletin no.162 issued by Secretary Legislature reveals that Speaker Shri Ramesh Tawadkar has rejected my Private Member Resolution on “Political Reservation for Scheduled Tribes in Goa.”
The Congress MLA said “It appears that Speaker has acted on directions of anti-ST BJP Leadership.”
