Panaji: Goa on Saturday reported a COVID-19 positive case while one patient who was being treated for his infection in the hospital has recovered, a senior health official said.
State Health Department officials said that one person who had travelled to Goa by road from Maharashtra has tested positive for COVID-19 infection. He also said that one person who was undergoing treatment after being tested positive at ESI hospital in the state has recovered and sent for quarantine facility where he would be kept under observation for 14 days.
The total number of COVID-19 positive cases detected in Goa has touched a mark of 70 of which 28 are active while 42 have recovered.
