Pernem Police have booked a tourist for driving a rent a car negligently on Morjim beach.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi information was received that one tourist has been driving his rent a car on Morjim beach thereby being risk to general public moving on the beach.
Accordingly police identified the tourist culprit who was intentionally driving the said rent a car and registered an offence under section 279, 336 IPC.
The tourist identified as Mr. Gourav Bishwad, age 25 yrs has been placed under arrest .
The vehicle Hyundai i20 car Ga 11 T 2292 is being taken into custody by the police as presently it is breakdown.
Further investigation is in progress.
