NSUI suggests all health centres to scan people for COVID-19 infection

Panaji: National Students Union of india (NSUI) has suggested that all the health centres should conduct house to house survey to find out suspected COVID-19 patients and isolate them.

NSUI North Goa Chief Naushad Chawdhari in a letter to Governor of Goa has said “While going house-to-house task force team at each of the 176 health centres(PHC,UHC,CHC,SC) across Goa should be assisted with the local governance body elected representatives (Councillors,Panch members) of that respective areas ,with the help of this representatives it will be easier for the task force team to reach out to each and every house of that concerned area.”

“Through this mechanism we will reach out to get all the covid-19 positive case across Goa and defeat this pandemic disease covid-19 chain in our state Goa.

Also there can be many covid-19 positive cases in Goa due to the contact with that of positive cases present in goa which is not know to the govt so through this mechanism we will able to find all the positive cases in Goa.”

“I kindly request to make utmost use of all the health centres in Goa to find those who have virus and isolate them immediately. This way we will defeat this coronavirus in Goa and make our Goa a safe and a better place once again.”
