Panaji: Responding to the statement of Advocate Datar and demand of resignation by opposition parties on the issue of Mhadei, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that no instructions were given by anybody from the Government to not oppose notification of Mhadei award.
“No instructions were given by anybody from the Government to not oppose Notification of Mahadai award. Government instructions are always in writing,” Sawant tweetd.
“We had immediately changed the lawyer and Mukul Rohatgi ex Attorney General appeared for us. Now ex ASG Narsinha appears for us. This fact is already in the public domain for more than a year. I once again appeal to the opposition to not play dirty politics on the Madhai issue,” he added.
