Margao: Siddhivinayak Naik, Chief Officer of Margao Municipal Council, has resorted to Gandhigiri for reminding tax evaders that they should pay up.
The young officer along with Tax Section official Damodar Yelekar and Dilip Khanapurkar today morning visited banks which have not yet paid their taxes and offered them roses as a reminder of the same.
Naik also explained tax remedies offered by MMC.
The Gandhigiri style of the chief officer left the tax evaders embarrassed.
The CO visited Yes Bank, Punjab National Bank, Vijaya Bank and Andhra Bank. Gandhigiri to continue.
