Panaji: Goa’s Revenue minister Atanasio (Babush) Monserratte was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital near here last night after he suffered a heart attack.
GMCH Dean Dr Shivanand Bandodkar said that the minister is stable now after angioplasty was conducted on him at 1.30 am of Monday.
He was brought to GMCH at 12.30 on intervening night of Sunday-Monday after he suffered an heart attack.
Bandodkar said that the condition of the minister is stable and he is admitted in the Super speciality block of the hospital.
He said that the minister would remain admitted for couple of more days as he would be under the observation of medical experts.
