Panaji: MGP MLA Deepak Pawaskar has said that the party will get another ministerial berth under the same government after upcoming by-elections.

Pawaskar told online media Goan Reporter that he was aspiring for ministerial berth during formation of government under the leadership of Pramod Sawant.

“But due to some reasons, I could not get it. That’s fine. We will get it in future under the current government,” he said.

Pawaskar said that the party had also asked for three posts of chairmanship, which will also be fulfilled by the current government after by-election.

The MGP MLA said that the party will contest all the four by-elections.

“Now there are by election and MGP will contest in all the four constituencies. Dipak Dhavalikar is contesting from Shiroda, he is getting good support. Shiroda is MGP bastion,” he said.

“Rest three constituencies also we will be fielding the candidates. We will soon declare their names,” he said.

Pawaskar said that expulsion of General Secretary Lavoo Mamlatdar would be reconsidered during the next meeting.
