Manohar Parrikar wishes Goan on Statehood Day through video message

Panaji:  Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has praised the developmental projects undertaken by Modi-led government in the State during last four years.

He has released a video message in Konkani addressing the people of the State.

“I wish all the Goans on the occasion on 31st Statehood Day. The state has witnessed development during last 31 years,” Parrikar has said in a video message in Konkani which was released by his office this morning.

“During last four years, several developmental works are initiated in the State by Narendra Modi-led government,” he said.

 “The works on third Mandovi bridge (near Panaji) and Galjibag-Tolpon bridge (near Canacona in South Goa) are inching closer to completion while works on Zuari bridge is going on full fledged,” he stated.

 Parrikar said that “State has witnessed development in the social sector due to these schemes.”

Parrikar said that the State government is committed towards creating employment through Information Technology and Industrial sector.

“We intend to continue the pace of development which is witnessed by the State during last 31 years for which we would require cooperation of the people, which is very important,” he added.
