Panaji: Waste Management Minister Michael Lobo visited Sonsodo on Wednesday.
Leader of opposition Digambar Kamat, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai and others were present during the visit.
After the visit, Sardesai tweeted”Visited the Margao Municipality & Sonsoddo garbage dump with @MichaelLobo76 so as to help in starting remediation of the dump at the earliest. We are committed to cooperating with the Goa Solid Waste Management Corporation towards early resolution of this decades old vexed issue.”
