In North BJP leading, South see tough fight

Panaji: BJP North Goa candidate Shripad Naik has maintained his hold over the constituency as his lead reaches over 32,000 after five round of counting.
Naik has so far polled 1,14,071 votes as against Congress candidate Girish Chodankar who got 81,443 votes.
AAP candidate pradeep padgaonkar has managed to get only 2511 votes till now.
In South Goa, Congress and BJP are having tough fight, with Congress having edge. Congress candidate Francisco Sardinha is leading by a mere margin of 1001 votes after 27 round of counting. He has polled total 9,8397 votes.
BJP sitting MP Narendra Sawaiker has polled 97396 votes while AAP candidate Elvis Gomes got 11,190 votes.
