Panaji: As the D day arrived and everyone was busy getting maximum votes for their candidates, Congress candidate Babush Monserratte, ushered in some light hearted moments when he asked one of a staunch BJP leader “hope you have voted for me.”
Monserrratte who has been hopping from one booth to another came across a senior BJP leader and shook hands.
When both of them exchanged smiles, Babush surprised the rival leader when he asked “have you voted? Hope you have voted for me.”
During the election, the rivalries between Monserratte group and BJP had attained peak. But some of these moments, clearly indicated that the election fever is getting lesser, and will disappear after 6 p.m today.
