Panaji: Government College of Commerce and Economics Borda-Margao is organising an e-waste collection drive in association with ‘Karo Sambhav’ to make Borda toxic-material free. The campaign would be carried out between January 20-30 at the college premises from 9AM to 4PM. CPU, Mouse, CRT/LCD monitor, printers, laptops, mobile phones, power cords, chargers, adapters, DVD players, remote controls, cameras, modems etc would be collected.
The E-waste collected from the people will be sorted and stored, and later transported to a recycling partner.
