Panaji : On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti on April 14 2021, Government of Goa will be awarding the Dr B. R. Ambedkar Samajik Puraskar to senior citizen who has contributed to the welfare of the scheduled castes. The award comprises Rs 25,000 cash and a certificate.
The applications for the said award are invited from persons whonare above 60 years of age, and who have at least 25 years of dedicated service of uplifting the downtrodden classes in Goa. Those interested can take application forms which are available at the Directorate of Social Welfare, 18th June road in Panaji. The last date to submit the applications along with the documents is March 31 2021.
