Mandrem: After winning by-election in Mandrem assembly constituency, BJP leader Dayanand Sopte thanked God for surrounding him with the invisible shield to triump over negativities.

Sopte who switched over from Congress to join BJP in October last year, had faced lot of resistance including that from former Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar.

“I remind myself this every single day…. Last few days have been the most memorable of all. Amidst the celebrations I missed our Late CM #ManoharParrikar the most,” Sopte has said in his Faecbook post.

“Spending every second with my Karyakartas, supporters & well wishers for the last 3 days makes me the Happiest Man,” he added.

“I’m grateful to all. I’m thankful to God for surrounding me with the nicest people who have been the invisible shield to triumph over the negativities n cruel nature of the haters. May God bless you all (even my opponents) and wish that I’ll be a part of your personal victories and sorrows too.”
